Post-Quantum Remote Desktop
Remote Desktop sessions use hybrid post-quantum encryption aligned with NIST standards (FIPS 203/204), so sessions stay protected against future quantum attacks. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3; data at rest with AES-256.
Simple Pricing
Backbuild is free to start: the full everyday workspace and back office, at no cost, for teams up to 50. Lite ($19 per seat / month, or $193.80 per seat / year billed annually) adds the tools to get paid and grow; Pro ($49 per seat / month, or $499.80 per seat / year billed annually) unlocks the entire build-and-ship platform and your own storefront; and Enterprise ($149 per seat / month list) adds a 99.99% uptime SLA and dedicated support at any scale. Annual billing is always 15% off. During Early Adopter Alpha, prepaid terms on Lite and Pro go deeper with a single one-time, up-front payment: 1 year at 10% off (unlimited and repeatable), 2 years at 30% off (first 4,000 seats per plan), 3 years at 45% off (first 3,000), 4 years at 60% off (first 2,000), or 5 years at 75% off (first 1,000). Prepaid terms never auto-renew; when a term ends, the org returns to then-current standard pricing. Discounts apply to the per-seat plan rate only, not usage credits. Every seat on a plan is the same price (no volume discounts), added whenever you need it and pro-rated to your cycle.
A few capabilities run on universal usage credits. One credit pool covers all metered usage: the built-in AI models, containers, audio features (speech-to-text and text-to-speech), outbound email beyond your monthly allowance, file and database storage beyond your plan’s included allowance, and Real-Time Session Minutes beyond the 10,800 free minutes every tier gets each month (only active usage counts; idle time is free). Bring your own AI keys and that AI usage is on you, not your credits. Unused credits roll over for up to 3 months. Everything else is included in your plan.
